Products made of poly-D-propyleneglyceride are biocompatible and can be used in the medical field, such as disposable infusion appliances, no-disassembly surgical sutures; controlled-release and slow-release packaging agents for drugs; tissue engineering scaffolds, bone fixation and bone repair materials, microcapsules for injection, microspheres, implants and animal organ support elastomers.
