The medical PEEK 3D printing filaments production line was successfully put into use
Recently, Shenzhen eSUNMed medical 3D printing filaments production line has successfully been put into production. The medical-grade PEEK filament is the latest achievement of this trial production. In this trial production, the R&D personnel of eSUNMed Technology independently designed the production line of medical 3D printing filaments and successfully broke through the problems in PEEK processing temperature and equipment parameters setting. Efficient configuration of the production process has been achieved.
This PEEK material is produced in a clean room and follows strict medical material quality management regulations. It has good biocompatibility, outstanding temperature, great chemical resistance, excellent stabilizability and ease of processing. The wire diameter of this material is 1.75mm and can be directly used in standard specification PEEK material FFF/FDM 3D printers.
The research and application of 3D printing technology in the medical field have developed rapidly, providing creative ideas for clinical medicine to solve some difficult diseases. The application of 3D printing technology in the medical field has extended from medical models, guide plates, rehabilitation aids and implants to tissue engineering scaffolds, and even cells, tissues and organs.
The medical-grade PEEK filament produced by Shenzhen eSUNMed is also widely used in the medical field, including customized hearing aids, wire mesh prostheses and orthodontic appliances, drilling aids for dental or personalized surgical instruments, etc.

Shenzhen eSUNMed has nearly 400 square meters of 100,000-level standard clean room and 100 square meters of 10,000-level purification laboratories, which meet the standard of GMP workshops for pharmaceutical excipients production and sterile medical devices, as well as the industry standards for biomedical polymer materials. At the same time, the clean workshop has strict safety and quality management system to ensure product quality and meet the mandatory requirements of medical PEEK products on production environment regulations.
