This meeting focused on the progress and completion of various tasks at eSUNMED and provided key guidance for the activities planned for the second half of the year.

 

eSUNMED’s 2024 First Half-Year Work Review

1.Significant Increase in Sales and New Customers

From January to June 2024, eSUNMED’s sales revenue increased by 157% compared to the same period in 2023, and the number of customers increased by 145% year-on-year. Additionally, for the first time, we successfully closed deals with overseas clients, marking a major breakthrough in our business expansion efforts.

 

2. Focus on New Product Development and Launch

eSUNMED is primarily dedicated to the development and application of bio-based medical polymer materials. In the first half of 2024, eSUNMED expanded its product portfolio by introducing a series of new materials, including PEG-polyester copolymers, PEG-PCL microspheres, and PEG-PLLA microspheres, building upon its existing product lineup.

 

3. Further Improvement in Product Qualifications

In the first half of 2024, eSUNMED successfully completed the registration and filing of the master documents for PLLA and PCL raw materials and microspheres.

PLLA and PCL raw materials and microspheres have successfully passed irradiation sterilization validation, and the company can provide a one-month sterile certification for the related microsphere products.

Additionally, PLLA/PCL raw materials and microspheres have obtained certification for the three standard tests of biocompatibility.

 

4. In-depth Market Research to Understand Customer Needs

Over the past several months, eSUNMED has conducted extensive visits across regions including South China, East China, Southwest China, as well as Beijing, Tianjin, and Shandong. Through in-depth communication with customers, the company has gained a deeper understanding and insight into the market. This effort supports the optimization of our products and services while enhancing service efficiency.

 

5. Actively Engaging in Offline Marketing Activities to Strengthen Market Connection

In the first half of the year, eSUNMED participated in several exhibitions, including the Suzhou Polymer Medical Device Expo and the Shanghai IHMD Aesthetics Conference. Additionally, eSUNMED’s biomedical PLLA and PEEK 3D printing materials made their debut at the Rapid+TCT exhibition in the United States, attracting significant interest and inquiries from users. These efforts have further enhanced the company’s brand influence.

6. Strengthening R&D Efforts with Continuous Equipment Upgrades

In July 2024, the eSUN New Material Innovation Center (Wuhan), established with investment from Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd., officially began operations. As a platform for shared technologies, the Wuhan Innovation Center has been continuously upgrading and enhancing its research equipment. Moving forward, it will work in coordination with facilities in Xiaogan, Suzhou, and Shenzhen, forming a “one primary, three auxiliary” R&D layout. This structure will enable innovation, incubation, and commercialization, building a closed-loop system for the synthesis, modification, application, and recycling of biomaterials.

Through continuous improvements in both hard and soft capabilities, eSUNMED has achieved significant development across multiple fields. In the second half of 2024, we will continue to increase investment in product research and development, expand into domestic and international markets, enhance production capacity, and shorten delivery times to better meet the customized requirements of customers worldwide.
